Today’s going to be me watching TMC movies I’ve dvr-ed, all day.

Just finished watching Adam’s Rib for the 20th time.  Now onto 8 1/2, which I’m watching for the first time.  It’s trippy.  Then, Orpheus.  Followed by one of my favorite movies EVER, The Shop Around the Corner. 

To be honest, today’s been my most productive day of my winter break.

fresh/seasonal menu, open kitchen/dining area layout, and cooking/eating as performance at a time long before these were widely accepted conventions in ny or anywhere (chez panisse opened the same year).
